The first contest camp the youth/junior committee held was in 2016. The clubs hosting these camps have been Texas Soaring Association, Harris Hill Soaring Corp, Sandhill Soaring Club and Williams Soaring Center. We offer two cross country and/or contest camps, one on the East Coast and one on the West Coast. Our goal is to help fund these camps to make them affordable to your juniors.
Clubs looking to host a sanctioned Regional or National contest, hosting the junior contest along side is a great way to make a successful event. In order for a SSA Chapter Club/Commercial operator to host one of these camps you can obtain more information here: Host Site Needed.

For 2020 Caesar Creek Soaring Soaring Club hosted a cross country soaring camp from August 3rd-7th 2020 where four US Juniors were sponsored in our Camp grant program.
We are hoping there will be a camp on the West Coast, but still working out the details.
